TSmith Logistics is a recruitment agency for the restaurant and catering industry. We help restaurants, bars, cafés and caterers find seasonal staff for the months when the regular team isn't enough. Our people work in your kitchen or on your floor, but they stay on our payroll, so you skip the contracts and admin. We take time to understand how your service runs, then look for people who fit it. You get extra hands for the season and a partner who keeps in touch throughout.

Why us

  • Staff stay off your payroll

Seasonal workers are employed through us. You get the help you need without setting up contracts, payslips or end-of-season paperwork.

  • Focused on restaurants and catering

Kitchens, dining rooms, bars and events are the only places we staff. We know the difference between a prep cook and a line cook.

  • We learn how you work

Before suggesting anyone, we ask about your menu, your service style and your busiest shifts. That way the people we send fit your team.

  • Clear agreements in writing

Roles, shifts and arrangements are confirmed in writing before anyone starts, so you and your new staff know what to expect.

Who we help

  • Independent restaurants

Owners who need extra cooks or floor staff for busy months. They want reliable people who settle into a small team quickly, without adding them to payroll.

  • Event and party caterers

Caterers whose workload rises with wedding and event season. They need a flexible pool of staff for kitchens and service, booked around a changing calendar.

  • Seasonal venues

Terraces, summer kitchens and holiday-period dining rooms that open or expand for part of the year. Their main need is a full team ready for the first busy weekend.

How it works

  1. 1

    Tell us what you need

Call or email us with the roles, dates and shifts you need covered. A rough idea is a fine place to start.

  2. 2

We get to know your operation

We ask about your kitchen, your floor and your guests. Then we confirm the roles and arrangements with you in writing.

  3. 3

    Meet your seasonal staff

We put forward people who match your needs and arrange their start dates with you. They join your team on our payroll.

  4. 4

    Stay in touch all season

As bookings rise or fall, tell us what changes. We adjust staffing with you and handle any issues along the way.

What we stand for

  1. 01

    Your season, understood

We learn how your kitchen and dining room run before we suggest anyone. That way the people we send fit your pace, your menu and your team.

  2. 02

    Payroll stays simple

Seasonal staff we place are not on your payroll. You get the extra hands you need without taking on the contracts and admin for a few busy months.

  3. 03

    People treated well

We look after the people we place and stay in contact throughout the season. Staff who feel supported show up ready to work for you.

  4. 04

    Honest about fit

If a role is hard to fill or a match is not right, we tell you plainly. You can plan your service around real information.

Questions

Which roles can you staff?

We find seasonal staff for kitchens, dining rooms, bars and catered events. That includes chefs, line and prep cooks, kitchen porters, servers, hosts, runners, bartenders, bar backs, and event setup crews. If you need a role not listed here, ask and we'll tell you honestly whether we can help.

What does it mean that staff aren't on my payroll?

The people we place work in your business and follow your directions, but they are employed through us. That means you don't need to set up employment contracts or run payroll for them. We confirm the full arrangement with you in writing before anyone starts.

How do I get started?

Call or email us with the roles you need and the dates of your busy period. We'll talk through your operation, ask a few questions about your service, and confirm the next steps with you. There's no need to have every detail worked out first.

What should I prepare before contacting you?

It helps to know the roles you're short on, the dates or months involved, the shifts you need covered, and anything specific about your kitchen or service. Details on dress code, experience level and your menu help us find people who fit your team.

Can you help with a single event?

Yes. Caterers and venues often need a crew for one wedding, function or festival day. Send us the event details, guest numbers and the roles you need, and we'll put together a crew and confirm who is coming with you beforehand.
